Our vibrant and interdisciplinary School of Psychology and Social Work delivers high-quality and professional education and research.

We have strong links with national, local and regional agencies. Our exciting range of contemporary professional programmes consist of Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the Clinical Psychology Doctoral programme, MSc Dementia (Online), and our portfolio of Social Work programmes, including our BA Social Work Degree Apprenticeship.

Flexible study, delivered digitally

Our research brings together expertise and specialisms across clinical psychology, social work, mental health nursing and learning disability nursing.

From brain activity to group behaviour and from infancy to old age – we investigate the fundamental psychological processes in our contemporary facilities.

We're founder members of the Humber Social Work Teaching Partnership, giving you access to local employers of social work practitioners. 
Develop the skills to work with adults, children and young people in a range of circumstances and learn how to safeguard and protect people where required.
This programme is accredited by Social Work England which means you can apply to register as a qualified social worker on graduation.
