Blazej Madry

Blazej Madry is a BABCP accredited Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist and a Clinical Lecturer on the PG Dip in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. He is also a registered social worker.

He completed his MA in Sociology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. He later completed additional courses at the University of Lincoln and the University of York, both social work related. He completed his PG Diploma in CBT at the University of Hull.

Blazej’s clinical experience involves working in mental health inpatient units, community secondary care, independent outpatient and NHS IAPT. He has experience of the CBT supervision within the NHS, private and at the University.

Blazej has worked as the Clinical Lecturer at the University of Hull since 2019, on the IAPT training programme, and the CBT in Secondary Care PG Dip. In 2023 he became the Deputy Course Director on the SMHP programme, and later that year the Programme Director for the whole of the CBT portfolio. In 2026 he took on a new role of the Director of Studies for the School of Psychology and Social Work.
