Easy access, wherever you are

Thanks to its central location, Hull is within easy reach of most parts of the country. And our road, rail, air and sea links are so good that students can reach us from all over the country. And, in fact, from all over the world. Wherever you’re coming from, and wherever you’re headed to, Hull connects you to it all.

By car

Hull is easy to get to by car. It’s just two and a half hours from major cities like Newcastle and Birmingham. Manchester is less than two hours away, and you can drive from Leeds or Sheffield in just over an hour.

Travel FAQs

In some instances, parking will be free of charge. But where free parking isn’t available, there may be a small charge of £1 for up to 4 hours and £2 for up to 24 hours. This is available in our Wilberforce car park.

There are a limited number of electric car charging points on campus that are available on a first come, first served basis.
