Up-to-the-minute facilities to live and learn
Hull’s one of the oldest universities in the country. Home to 1,000+ trees, rose-filled lawns, and characterful older buildings. Alongside these, you’ll find super-modern structures of steel and glass springing up. New facilities for a fresh generation of minds. Like yours.
Start a city break that never ends
We’ve built swish new on-campus accommodation for 2,300+ students. So, you can roll out of bed and go straight into your lectures. Think fresh, airy en-suite rooms with 24/7 security and all the modern facilities you need.
Travel the world from your reading chair
Our library is a superb learning space. There are over a million books and journals, and extensive digital resources drawn from archives across the world. Plus, over 500 open-access PCs, and bookable rooms for both group work and quiet study.
Sports facilities fit for every body
Our £17-million Allam Sport Centre is equipped with a 12-court sports hall, 120-station gym, dance studios, and floodlit 3G pitches. If you’re studying a Sport degree, you’ll also have access to elite facilities in our Performance Zone.
Old friends were once new people
You’ll find plenty of places to meet up with mates: Wetherspoons, two Costa coffee shops, and green, leafy spaces. There are over 60 societies you can join, and our on-campus nightclub hosts gigs by everyone from Belle & Sebastian to Self Esteem.
State of the arts
Middleton Hall is our world-class concert venue, with industry-standard recording studios and rehearsal spaces and the region’s best digital cinema. We’re also home to the Gulbenkian Centre: a purpose-built theatre with studios and workshop areas.
