Powerful partnerships

In partnership with Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust we have established world-class facilities including the award winning Allam Medical Building as part of our multi-million pound Health Campus.  By working with our regional NHS Trusts, primary care and community healthcare providers we can access a wide clinical base to ensure our research is representative.  Our research collaborations with global businesses Smith & Nephew and Reckitt have created one of the world’s largest wound care research clusters and tackle a suite of healthcare challenges.

Research that matters

Through our Institute for Clinical and Applied Health Research, which brings together expertise from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Hull York Medical School, we are finding health solutions together. Our research is having an impact in areas including palliative care, alcohol and drug use, maternal and reproductive health, improving cancer treatment, tackling cancer inequalities, and dementia – in our local region and worldwide.
