Partnering with IIT Madras to advance AI in healthcare, renewable energy, and net-zero through research, events, and researcher exchange.

Our partnership with IIT Madras supports innovation in AI for healthcare, renewable energy, and net-zero. Since 2023, we’ve hosted joint events and enabled researcher mobility to address global and regional sustainability challenges together.

Our partnership with MSU strengthens post-war recovery in Ukraine through joint research, trauma-informed education, and student support, promoting community resilience and sustainable reconstruction via shared academic and civic engagement models.

Partnering with ULHN through the Global Consortium of Coastal Universities and EUNIcoast to advance maritime, sustainability, and global business research across coastal universities.

Through GU8 and EUNIcoast, our collaboration with ULHN supports joint research in maritime affairs, sustainability, and global business, connecting coastal universities across Europe to address shared environmental and economic challenges.

Partnering with UiT on climate change, marine research, and maritime law, with student exchange and collaborative research funding opportunities.

Our partnership with UiT spans climate change, marine science, and maritime law. As University of the Arctic members, we collaborate on research and offer student exchanges through North2North and other funding schemes.

International Scholarships

We work with leading scholarship bodies to support talented students worldwide. Our key scholarship partners include:

British Council (GREAT Scholarships)

£10,000 towards UK postgraduate tuition for students from selected countries.

Visiting Academics

At the University of Hull, we acknowledge the valuable contribution visiting academics make to our research community and we are proud to welcome academic visitors from around the world.

Academic visitors are defined as members of staff at their “home” institution and not individuals already studying a PhD or equivalent at their “home” institution, i.e., visiting scholars.

Applications from visiting PhD students are managed by the University's Doctoral College.

To be considered for a proposed visit you first must contact an academic within the University who will support and sponsor your application.
