The Wound Innovation Institute drives world-leading discovery and applied research to transform the prevention and treatment of chronic wounds.
It builds on our interdisciplinary research into skin health and wound healing, working with industry and the NHS. Our new facilities provide a national hub where current and future researchers can develop life-changing treatment for patients in need.
The Institute is unique in the UK, fostering national and international collaboration and funding bids, and driving innovation in wound treatment, an area too often overlooked.
