Josh Norman

I am an early career post-doctoral research assistant at Hull International Fisheries Institute, school of Natural Sciences in the University of Hull. I gained my PhD in 2022 and much of my work focuses on behavior of coarse fish/cyprinids, in particular fundamental ecological roles in relation to protection at hazardous water intakes. I am now progressing towards development of less damaging turbines and pumps including bespoke assessment of passive sensors and live fish behavioral trials.
