What is the Flood Innovation Centre?

The Flood Innovation Centre supports small and medium-sized businesses to develop new products and services to help with flood resilience.

The Centre was established in April 2019 by the University of Hull in response to climate change and a desire to drive forward innovative and commercial thinking in the flood resilience sector.

The Flood Innovation Centre brings the University of Hull’s world-class research in climate change, flood, engineering, logistics, materials and computer science to Humber based SMEs.

The Centre is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
