About Megan Burnett

Megan is a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Hull Business School. She teaches across several postgraduate modules, including MSc Buyer Behaviour and Ethics, MSc Interactive Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and Digital Marketing, and Msc Social Media Marketing Management.

Her research interests focus on sustainability, halal consumption, and tourism, and her work has been published in journals such as Annals of Tourism Research and the British Food Journal.

Megan is currently completing her PhD at the University of Birmingham, with an expected completion date in 2026.
