When you join the University of Hull as an undergraduate or taught postgraduate student, you'll be allocated an Academic Support Tutor.
This is a member of staff from your subject, who'll be your consistent point of contact and academic support throughout your studies.
They'll provide academic guidance, help you to reflect on your achievements and progress throughout your studies, and empower you to take charge of your academic success and development.
Your Academic Support Tutor may contact you before your first day on campus and you'll meet them during induction week. You'll continue to have one-to-one meetings, as well as group sessions with other students from your subject.
If you're not sure who your Academic Tutor is, you can find out from the 'My Studies' page of MyHull or ask at your Faculty Hub.
