Mostafa Anoosha

Mostafa Anoosha is a KTP Associate and Responsible AI Engineer working in collaboration with Veracity Healthcare and the University of Hull. His work focuses on translating advanced artificial intelligence research into safe, explainable, and practically deployable systems for healthcare and other safety-critical environments. He has a multidisciplinary background spanning artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, industrial automation, quality assurance, and system validation.

As a KTP Associate, he leads the technical development of IRIS (Incident Reporting and Investigation System), an Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership project developing a Responsible AI-powered incident management platform for domiciliary care. The project brings together conversational AI, automatic speech recognition, multimodal data, knowledge graphs, large language models, incident analytics, and human-in-the-loop decision support, with particular emphasis on robustness, explainability, privacy, regulatory compliance, and safe AI deployment.

His wider research includes privacy-preserving and federated learning, multimodal AI, AI security and adversarial robustness, explainable AI, uncertainty-aware systems, and agentic AI. He has developed and demonstrated healthcare-focused AI systems including HybridVFL, safety-reporting platforms, and Responsible AI evaluation frameworks. His research interests centre on building AI systems that are not only accurate, but also dependable, transparent, secure, and suitable for real-world human-centred applications.
