Dr Hannah Victoria Connelly

I am a post-doctoral research assistant working on the project 'Water Memories and Flood Futures', exploring the history of flooding in Grimsby. It is a collaborative project working closely with Our Big Picture, an arts and heritage charity based in Grimsby.

My background is in archaeology and I have worked in field archaeology and community archaeology. Most recently I led a community heritage project in Glasgow based around a demonstration plot of a First World War allotment.

My PhD was on the history of allotments in Glasgow from the 1930s to the present day with a particular focus on allotment gardening's role in mental health.
