About Dr Alexander Osborne
Dr Alexander Osborne is a Lecturer in Environmental Fluid Dynamics. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Sustainable Drainage Systems as part of the SuDSlab group at the Energy and Environment Institute, University of Hull. His work focused on the monitoring and analysis of sustainable drainage systems within the DIG project, which aimed to improve surface water resilience in Doncaster, Immingham and Grimsby. He completed his PhD at Durham University through the ‘Listening to Rivers’ project, where he developed a new approach using subaerial sound to determine river stage.
