Visiting academics

We value the contributions visiting academics make to our research community and we’re proud to welcome academics from around the world.

Why Hull?

Throughout our history of over 90 years the University of Hull has fostered the power of collaboration in teaching and research. We recognise visiting academics play an integral role in the developing of these areas, which ultimately contribute to the mission and vision of our institution.

Visiting academics are an important part of our campus community and make valuable contributions to their host faculties. We have had the pleasure of welcoming individuals from institutions around the world and look forward to welcoming many more in the future.

To begin the process of becoming an international visiting academic at the University of Hull you must first identify a University of Hull academic who has agreed to support and sponsor your application. Following this you must complete an application form.
