Global Hull summer opportunities can last from a couple of weeks to more than a couple of months. Many opportunities are also eligible for Turing scholarship funds so whatever your circumstances we can find the right international opportunity for you.

Summer Opportunities

Study Tours

Global Hull’s annual Study Tours give you the chance to visit exciting destinations around the world and discover different societies and cultures through unique experiences.

Each summer we take a group of Hull students on a one of a kind 4 week overseas experience. Our bespoke Study Tours blend thrilling exploration, interdisciplinary study sessions and lectures, cultural activities and more.

Study Tours are open to all students and participants come away with valuable experiences, transferrable skills and some incredible stories to tell friends and family back at home.

India Study Tour

For summer 2022 we are going on a 4-week tour to India. We’re spending 2 weeks in Delhi and 2 weeks in Chennai.

Applications are now closed for our summer 2022 India Study Tour, but we’ve already started planning our summer 2023 Study Tour. Contact globalhull@hull.ac.uk to find out where we’re going and what we’re doing.

INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Get support and funding

The University of Hull has been awarded funds from the Turing Scheme to support students with international opportunities as a replacement to the former Erasmus+ Scheme.

If you are taking part in an international opportunity with a duration of at least four weeks abroad, you may be eligible for a Turning Scholarship fund regardless of the destination.

Global Hull will assess each student and their personal situation individually to determine exactly how much funding you will be eligible for. Funding can be in the form of a weekly or monthly stipend or in some cases for students that met the Turing Schemes criteria for additional support you may be able to reimburse the cost of things such as flights, visas and passports.
