Inclusion

The library team is dedicated to ensuring and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout our building.

Inclusive facilities in the Library

In the Library you will find:

  • Lots of areas around the building where you can switch off from study.
  • A Reading Well collection to support your mental and physical health.
  • Coloured overlay reading aids. Please speak to a member of library staff for more information.
  • Gender-neutral toilets.
  • A baby change facility.
  • bookable family room for students wanting to bring their children with them whilst studying. The room has two student desks with PCs, a playmat, and a children's bookcase.
  • A number of library staff who are trained mental health first aiders.
