Collaborate with us

Bringing together organisations like yours with our best academic staff.

The University of Hull is committed to supporting businesses and boosting the region’s economy.

We do this by sharing the benefits of our world-class facilities and expert academic talent – the kind of talent that led to the development of liquid crystal display (LCD) screens, the technology behind bone density scanners, and ‘lab-on-a-chip’ micro devices.

Whatever challenges and opportunities lie ahead for your business, there are proven ways that we can deliver benefits that will make a tangible difference to your bottom line.

But don’t just take our word for it. We have won a series of awards for our collaborations, including the Guardian University Award for ‘best business partnership’ in the UK.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a government funding programme which brings together go-ahead organisations like yours and our best academic staff along with a recent graduate, who is employed by the University but working for you. The KTP will transfer cutting-edge knowledge from the University into your organisation to make your concept a reality and leave you with an enhanced in-house research capability for your long-term benefit.
