University of Hull Middle East and North Africa Studentship

This Studentship is here to support students from across the region to join our diverse campus to study at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

About this award

The University of Hull has welcomed students from across the Middle East and North Africa for decades, including notable alumni such as Egyptian businessman Assem Allam who supported the work of the University.

This award is given as a £2,000 tuition fee discount against the cost of a full-time, undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme for each year of study (excluding PGCert and PGDip). Applicants must study at the University of Hull's main campus enrolling on programmes in September 2025, January 2026 or May 2026.

Eligibility

This award is available to students with an international fee status who are nationals of the following countries:

  • Egypt, Arab Rep.
  • Jordan
  • Lebanon
  • Morocco
  • Syrian Arab Rep.
  • Tunisia
  • West Bank and Gaza
  • Yemen Rep.

These countries have been selected as they have been identified as low or lower middle income countries by the World Bank. The University of Hull is committed to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and supports the access of affordable education for many.
