Free museums & galleries

Spend the day exploring Hull’s Maritime Museum, home to an enormous whale and centuries of seafaring history. Then, cross the square to Ferens Art Gallery, which has hosted the Turner Prize. And finally, take a trip back in time at the Streetlife Museum.

The team behind Hull’s UK City of Culture status still deliver epic free events. Think stunning installations like Urban Legends: Northern Lights, immersive sound baths at Humber Street Gallery or eerie storytelling at The Witching Hour.
