Dr Kafayat Aminu

Kafayat is an early career researcher. She holds a PhD in Medical Sociology/Anthropology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her research focuses on advancing equitable health outcomes among Black communities. Her research portfolio spans mental health, spinal cord injury, COVID-19 risk communication, and antimicrobial resistance. Her work is driven by community engagement and participatory approaches to improve health outcomes for underserved populations.
