Summary

Carmino's research focuses on public international law, and in particular the law of the sea, piracy and maritime security. He holds a PhD and LLM in International Law.

Carmino convenes the Public International Law modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and the International Criminal Justice postgraduate module. He also teaches on the Practical Legal Skills undergraduate module.

He has previously been a supervisor of the Law Clinic, and has contributed to a number of other modules, including the Law of Tort, the Law of the Sea, International Investment Law, and Human Rights.
