Foundation

Our Business, Law and Engineering foundation courses are run by our partner ONCAMPUS Hull. For further information regarding entry qualifications see the ONCAMPUS website.

For admission onto our foundation course we generally accept the following qualifications and grades:

• Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông (THPT) (Senior Secondary School Graduation Diploma) with a minimum GPA of at least 7 (out of 10).
• Bằng Trung Học Phổ Thông (THPT) (2000-2003)
• Bằng Tú Tài - Trung Học Chuyên Ban (THCB) (1996-1999)

If your first language is not English, or you require a student visa to study, you will be required to provide evidence of your English language proficiency level. Find out more.

Undergraduate

For admission onto the first year of an undergraduate bachelors degree course we generally accept the following qualifications and grades:

• For undergraduate programmes requiring up to 112 UCAS points with no Level 3 subject-specific requirements, students must have: Successful completion of Senior Secondary School Graduation Diploma (Bang Tot Nghiep Trung Hoc Pho Thong) with a grade of 7.5/10
• For undergraduate programmes requiring over 112 UCAS points with no Level 3 subject-specific requirements, students must have: Successful completion of Senior Secondary School Graduation Diploma (Bang Tot Nghiep Trung Hoc Pho Thong) with a grade of 8/10
• However, for programmes with Level 3 subject-specific requirements, a recognised Foundation Year must be successfully completed.

We sometimes require subject-specific grades. We will advise you of this in your offer letter.

If you do not hold one of the qualifications above, we still encourage you to apply. All applications will be reviewed on an individual basis.

If you wish to study with us starting from the second or final year, we are happy to consider applicants who have completed equivalent prior studies. These applications are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Postgraduate Taught

The majority of our taught Masters programmes require that you hold a qualification equivalent to a lower second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.2). Please check our course pages for specific entry requirements.

We generally consider Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Đại Học / Bằng Cử Nhân awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Vietnam to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree.

Lower second-class (2.2) equivalent

Overall grade 6.0 out of 10

Upper second-class (2.1) equivalent

Overall grade 7.0 out of 10

The majority of our research Masters programmes and PhDs require that you hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1), although some programmes, especially PhDs may have higher entry requirements. Please check our course pages for specific entry requirements.
