Undergraduate
For admission onto the first year of an undergraduate bachelors degree course we generally accept the following qualifications and grades:
- West African Senior School Certificate (WAEC) with a pass grade overall and successful completion of a recognised foundation year recognised by the University of Hull.
- National Diploma or Ordinary National Diploma with an overall GPA of 3.5 out of 5 or 3.0 out of 4.
- Higher National Diploma with an overall GPA of 3.5 out of 5 or 3.0 out of 4. Higher grades may be considered for advanced entry into year 2 of our Bachelor degree on case-by-case basis.
International Baccalaureate Diploma with a range of 28 – 30
We also accept students who have completed a US high school curriculum.
We sometimes require subject specific grades, we will advise you of this in your offer letter.
If you do not hold one of the qualifications above, we still encourage you to submit an application. All applications will be reviewed on an individual basis.
If you wish to study with us starting from the second or final year, we are happy to consider applicants who have completed equivalent prior study. These applications are considered on a case-by-case basis.
