If your first language is not English, or you require a student visa to study, you will be required to provide evidence of your English language proficiency level. Find out more.

Postgraduate Taught

The majority of our taught Masters programmes require that you hold a qualification equivalent to a lower second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.2). Please check our course pages for specific entry requirements.

We generally consider a Bachelors degree awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Kenya to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree.

If your degree is awarded by a private institution, it must be recognised by the Commission for University Education.

Lower second-class (2.2) equivalent
Overall grade 50% or Lower Division

Upper second-class (2.1) equivalent
Overall grade 60% or Upper Division
