Postgraduate

The majority of our taught Masters programmes require that you hold a qualification equivalent to a lower second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.2). Please check our postgraduate taught course pages for specific entry requirements and grades required, then check below for your country’s entry requirements.

The majority of our research Masters programmes and PhDs require that you hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1), although some programmes, especially PhDs, may have higher entry requirements. Please check our postgraduate research pages for specific entry requirements and the country entry requirements below.

    We generally consider the below qualifications awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Algeria to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree.

  • Australia

    We generally consider a minimum four-year Bachelor Honours degree awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Australia to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree.

    Degree classification directly compares to that in the UK. We accept Lower Second Class Division in your Bachelor Honours degree for programmes requiring 2.2 and Upper Second Class Division for programmes with 2.1 entry requirement.

    A three-year Bachelor degree may also be accepted depending on awarding institution and the programme you studied. We recommend that you submit your application or enquire.

  • Austria

    We generally consider Bachelor degree awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Austria to be comparable to Bachelor Honours degree.
