Supporting you to support your students

Our experienced Schools and Colleges Liaison team can support your students as they explore their Higher Education options.

We work closely with schools and colleges across the UK, delivering engaging, bespoke activities either on our campus, at your school or college or online. Subject talks, student finance, UCAS applications and the wider transition to university - our school outreach activity covers the topics that matter most to your students.

All our sessions are designed with clear learning outcomes and are mapped to the Gatsby Benchmarks - helping you deliver high-quality, impactful careers guidance.

Talks and workshops

Inspire your students with expert-led sessions that cover university applications, career pathways, making the most of open events, and more.

Or take part in our subject-specific activities. Our expert academics deliver exciting sessions that bring your curriculum to life, and give your students a glimpse of the type of learning they can expert at the University of Hull.

Taster Days

Would you like to go large? Our free Taster Days offer post-16 students the chance to immerse themselves in a range of activities and really make a day of it.

They can explore our beautiful single-site campus and state-of-the-art facilities, join a subject session, and chat with current students and lecturers. It’s also a valuable opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns before applying to university.

Widening participation

For almost a century, we've opened our doors to higher education for students from all backgrounds. Our widening participation scheme supports those who are underrepresented, giving them more opportunities to succeed.

If your school or college includes students from these groups, we'd love to tell you more about how we can support them.
