What support is available to me as a neurodivergent student or a student with a Specific Learning Difference?
We facilitate community sessions, in person and online, where neurodivergent students can meet and make friends. Some of our sessions are open discussions and others are themed around particular topics. If you’re curious about the possible presence of a neurodivergent condition, we can advise on your next steps, or you can access our free dyslexia screening. Further assessments to explore a full Specific Learning Difference diagnosis can be arranged, where this is deemed appropriate and where eligibility criteria are met.
We encourage you to explore the options of one-to-one specialist study skills tuition, and Specialist Mentor support through DSA. Where DSA support is not an option due to ineligibility, you may wish to explore our general Study Skills offer delivered by colleagues in the Library’s Study Skills team. Or you can also reach out to our knowledgeable and experienced Neurodivergent Support specialists to explore other potential support options.
