How can I look after my own wellbeing as a student?

Starting university is an opportunity to discover who you are, explore new interests, develop existing ones, and meet and make new friends. Although university can be an exciting and memorable experience, undertaking a course in higher education is not without its challenges. Here are some things you can do to help you look after yourself so that you can make the most of your time.

  • Prioritise sleep to support your mind. Remember, you deserve rest
  • Fuel up with balanced and nutritious meals
  • Make time for self-care and spend some time outdoors
  • Move your body, even just a little
  • Spend time with friends and talk out problems with someone you trust
