Who can use Clearing?

Most students can use Clearing if they aren't currently holding a university place. This includes students who haven't applied to university yet, students who didn't receive any offers, students who didn't meet the conditions of their offer, and students who have changed their plans and want to explore alternative options.

Who can use Clearing?

Clearing is designed to help students find a university course with places still available. While many people associate Clearing with Results Day, there are several situations where you may be able to use it such as:

• You haven't applied to university yet.
• You applied but didn't receive any offers.
• You didn't meet the conditions of your offer.
• You've declined your offers and want to explore other options.
• You've changed your mind about where or what you want to study.
• You're applying after the main UCAS application deadlines.

Can I use Clearing if I already have an offer?
