Business School Facilities

Get down to business

Inside the ivy-clad walls of the Hull University Business School, you'll find millions invested in building some of the country's best facilities.

Located in the heart of the Business School, the new Business Lounge is a vibrant hub for real businesses to work, collaborate and network.

Here, you'll make connections with professional industry networks, like-minded entrepreneurs, and corporate partners.

Plus it gives you the opportunity to meet, learn from, and make an impression on decision-makers, laying the foundations for your future career – all on campus.

Authentic Business Learning

Learn in fantastic professional business spaces that offer a superb environment in which to study, collaborate, and make valuable connections with industry networks. These recently enhanced executive areas complement the existing Business School facilities – a seamless combination of Grade II listed buildings; modern, fully-equipped lecture theatres; and at its heart – the relaxing Derwent Café where you can catch up for a chat with friends.

The world at your fingertips

Business School students have access to three dedicated computer suites, including the Bloomberg suite where you can keep track of the markets while you catch up on your email. You may even find that some of your lectures will be held here, which is a great way to enhance your learning.

Here, you can access industry-standard databases like Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters EIKON, Orbis and FAME, which enhance your learning and research.

Spaces that work

The Business School has a range of flexible spaces to accommodate learning and business needs. Our Executive Education Suite contains four rooms, most of which are fully AV equipped, and the Business Lounge is a great break-out area for informal meetings. There are many other bookable rooms throughout the Business School, so you're never short of a space to get things done.

The Business School has one of the largest lecture theatres on campus. Comfortable surroundings and up-to-date equipment make this a fantastic environment for learning. The theatre also often plays host to outside speakers and special guests.

If you're in need of time to unwind, the Derwent Cafe sits right at the heart of the Business School. It's a great place to catch up over a coffee or take a break from studying. Head to the beautiful Grade II listed Derwent Building for a relaxed, calming venue serving delicious hot and cold snacks and tempting afternoon treats.
