Earth Science courses

Earth Science at Hull is part of the Department of Geography, Geology and Environment, which sits within the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Foundation year

Gives you the skills and knowledge for entry on to a degree if you don’t quite meet the academic entry requirements.

We have partnerships with universities across the globe. Depending on your course, you can study for one trimester, or a full year, in another country.

Industrial placement

Our students have the world at their feet – literally. There is a strong focus on field trips to destinations in the UK and overseas, and there's the option to spend a year at one of our partner universities abroad. Our BSc Earth Science course is accredited by the Geological Society of London.
