The Student Law society runs a huge variety of competitions, from mooting, to negotiating, to client interviewing. Taking part in these is a great way to put what you've learnt into practice, gain confidence, and hone your skills.


In your final year, you'll even be able to get real, hands-on experience by working in our Legal Advice Centre. Here, you'll be able to provide legal advice to real clients on issues ranging from housing, to employment, to family.

And of course, if you are taking the Law and Legislative Studies degree, you may have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience on a 12 month placement at Westminster*.
