The Law School

About the school

The Law School has a substantial history – we’ve been teaching Law at Hull since 1927 – and a wide network of alumni from around the world.

Our considerable research expertise in restorative justice, civil law, international and public law has always had a strong interest in justice – with a focus on social justice and criminal justice.

A forward-thinking Law School, we’ve invested heavily in creating the right environment for students – to build both academic knowledge of the law and the practical skills required to enter into legal practice. Our facilities include an excellent mock courtroom, an award-winning Legal Advice Centre and legal e-resources – helping students develop the skills needed for the modern workplace.
