In BA Social Work, you’ll clock up hundreds of hours on placements in inner cities, market towns and seaside resorts. Through the Humber Social Work Teaching Partnership, we can introduce you to some of the biggest employers in the region.

BSc Psychology and BSc Psychology with Criminology offer internships and an optional placement year. You can also apply for our Research Assistantship scheme, and work as a research assistant while you study.

FOUNDATION YEAR

Think you’re not ready or right for uni? Think again…

If you don’t meet our entry requirements, you may still be able to join us on a foundation year: an extra year at the start of your degree.

The foundation year has lower entry requirements to our main degree courses and is designed to boost your academic skills and subject knowledge, bringing you up to speed for a full undergraduate degree.

Study abroad

Spread your wings and see the world while you study

On our Psychology degrees, you’ll have an opportunity to spend a semester abroad at a university in the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Italy, Hungary or Malta. Classes are taught in English, and you’ll expand your cultural and subject knowledge while you’re there.

Although our Social Work degree doesn't offer a study abroad option, you could still get involved in volunteering, summer schools and language classes through our Global Hull service.
