Message from Professor Becky Huxley-Binns, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education): I am delighted to announce the appointments of Dr Elizabeth Ward FHEA, Dr Katharine Hubbard SFHEA and Paula Gawthorpe SFHEA as the inaugural Senior Fellows of the Teaching Excellence Academy. Elizabeth, Katharine and Paula are all lecturers and will join the TEA on secondment from 1 August 2019 for 12 months from their Faculties (respectively, FACE, FoSE and FHS) on a 0.5FTE to lead the University’s work on inclusivity.
Elizabeth will focus on inclusivity of curriculum, Katharine on inclusivity in relation to attainment gaps and Paula on inclusivity and student retention and progression.
