Amazing views and campus highlights – take a virtual tour of the University

Book now for our open day

Our award-winning Allam Medical Building and iconic Brynmor Jones library are just some of the attractions for students at the University of Hull – and are a highlight of our campus tours at open days.

When prospective students visit the University, they are impressed by the latest addition to our health campus; facilities such as our world-class cultural venue, Middleton Hall; as well as the amazing views from the 7th floor of the library, realising that it will be a great environment for their studies.

Tom O’Neil, a first year computer science student, said:

“When I was applying for University, it was important to have access to a fantastic library. The group study spaces on offer are free of charge which is really useful for when I’m working in group projects and we need our own space.

“As well as the library being an inspirational place to work, it’s also open 24/7 which is helpful when you have an assignment due in.

“I really love the incredible views from the 7th floor, you can even see the Humber Bridge on a clear day!”

For those who can’t make it to our last open day of the year on Saturday 24 November – our virtual campus can help: giving 360 views of the campus and surrounding area to give a taste of what student life at Hull is like, and offering a greater understanding of the facilities the University has to offer.

“Our beautiful campus and great facilities are one of the major reasons why students choose to study at the University of Hull...Our virtual tour allows users to freely explore the campus in any way that they would like." Deborah Green, Director of Student Recruitment, University of Hull

Deborah Green, Director of Student Recruitment at the University of Hull, said:

“Our beautiful campus and great facilities are one of the major reasons why students choose to study at the University of Hull. However, it is often difficult for prospective students to truly understand these benefits if they are unable to attend one of our open or applicant days.

“Our virtual tour allows users to freely explore the campus in any way that they would like. They are able to navigate anywhere, including city centre locations such as Hull marina, Humber Street and Queen Victoria Square, with added hotspot content to give more information. This is especially useful for international students and all those who may not be able to visit in person.”

The 360 views really give a good insight into the look and feel of the University. There is also a guided tour and opportunity to access a whole stream of content on specific subjects and facilities from science laboratories to accommodation.
