Inaugural Lecture Series

University of Hull Inaugural Lectures

We are pleased to announce, after a break of a number of years, the launch the inaugural lecture series of events.

The inaugural lectures are delivered by the University’s newly appointed or promoted professors.

The inaugural lecture series of events are beneficial in many ways:

  • Individual recognition and an opportunity for new professors to celebrate with colleagues, students, family and friends.
  • They contribute to the institutional culture of recognition, celebration and reward, and showcase role models.
  • It is an opportunity for individuals to share examples of excellence in all domains (Research, Education and Knowledge Exchange) both within the institution, locally within the region, nationally and globally.
