The inaugural lectures are delivered by the University’s newly appointed or promoted professors.
The inaugural lecture series is beneficial in many ways:
- Individual recognition and an opportunity for new professors to celebrate with colleagues, students, family and friends.
- They contribute to the institutional culture of recognition, celebration and reward, and showcase role models.
- It is an opportunity for individuals to share examples of excellence in all domains (Research, Education and Knowledge Exchange) both within the institution, locally within the region, nationally and globally.
