Placements offer you the chance to work with our talented students for up to 12 months. Whether you're looking to complete a project, test innovative ideas, or strengthen your talent pipeline, we'll help you to find the right student.
Placements form part of their degree and take place during the third year of a four-year programme. Subjects with a placement option include:
Placements can start anytime from July until September and normally last nine to 12 months.

An internship can provide you with a highly motivated and skilled student or graduate and tailored to meet the needs of your business. We can talk you through options and help you find the talent you need to grow your business or move a project forward.
A successful internship will balance learning and development for the intern with clear outputs and results for the employer.
You can offer internships to a student or graduate and employers we work with have found internships to be a great way to explore an individual's suitability for a long-term role or an affordable way of bringing temporary talent in to work on a specific short-term project.
Internships are typically eight to 12 weeks in duration, often taking place over the summer vacation (June-September), but can be flexible to suit your needs. Whatever the format, our Employer Engagement Team will work with you to establish the benefits an intern could bring to your business.
Across the University, students from a wide range of courses are offered the chance to take part in shorter placement programmes and live projects. We are always interested in hearing from employers interested in getting involved so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
