About the partnership

Extraordinary is in you.
And we’ll help you find it.

Whether it’s a gold-medal-winning performance in front of millions, or simply being the first to talk in a roomful of strangers: we see the extraordinary in everyone. That’s what our partnership with Team GB is built on. Our shared belief is that everyone has it in them to achieve remarkable things. With your hard work and determination, our support and inspiration, you too can make it happen.

The story so far…

28 January 2019. The day we officially became the exclusive University Partner of Team GB. Two years into our six-year partnership, and one pandemic later, we’ve helped staff, students and the local community go on to do extraordinary things.

Miranda secured a key role in the run up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Alec is starting work experience with Britain’s best-loved sports brand. And Rose won gold: the Team GB Marketing Challenge 2021.

Then there’s the Hull students working on our joint research project, One Team GB, and three new PhD opportunities up for grabs for postgrads. Plus our Student Success Plan, and Get Set To Find Your Extraordinary programme.

And there’s still so much more to come.

The next few years
