Applicant Days
Study here before you study here with an Applicant Day. Explore our campus, meet your lecturers, and get a real feel for student life.

Applied to Hull? You’re invited.
You’ve got an offer to study with us, so what next? Applicant Days (also known as Offer Holder Days) are a chance to get a real taste of what it’s like to live and study at the University of Hull, including activities specific to your subject.
We know choosing where you’ll study is a big decision, so Applicant Days are a small step towards feeling confident you’ve made exactly the right choice.
Important: Check your inbox for our booking email and follow the instructions to confirm your place – it's that easy.
How is an Applicant Day different to an Open Day? Here’s how...
You might be thinking: “I’ve already been to an Open Day. Do I really need to go to an Applicant Day too?” Fair question. Applicant Days are all about experiencing what it will be like to study here and getting hands-on with your chosen subject. A deeper dive, if you like.
Or if you didn’t make it to an Open Day, get your first taste of what Hull has to offer. Don’t miss the free lunch and the chance to chat to current students. We know you’re going to love it.
What our students say...
Don’t just take our word for it. Hear from students about why it’s worth coming to an Applicant Day.
This is your chance to fully experience university life and get an insight into how your next three years will be spent. They also offer you the chance to meet your future course mates and start forming the bonds that will last you a lifetime.Abbie Howard

It's all about finding out whether this is the right fit for you. It really is all about you. Speak to academics, speak to students, ask all of your questions and make sure that you are making an informed decision. And most of all, enjoy the day!Emilie Bels
