UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATIONS

Contextual offers

Contextual offers help make admissions fairer by recognising your circumstances as well as your grades, giving you an equal opportunity to thrive at university.

A contextual offer at Hull means 96 UCAS points

We know your grades don’t tell the whole story. Circumstances outside your control, such as your background, family life or financial situation, can affect your exam results. That’s why we look at the bigger picture when considering your application.

Our contextual offer is 96 UCAS points, which is lower than our standard entry requirements.

An offer of 96 isn't because we're expecting your exam results to be lower, but so you know we recognise your wider circumstances.

By taking your circumstances into account, we can recognise your potential and give you the opportunity to succeed at university.
