Jeremy Round LGBTQ Scholarship
Available to continuing UK undergraduate students who identify as LGBTQ+ and have either a household income of less than £25,000 and/or a disability.
About this award
We support our LGBTQ+ community all year round, and in 2021/22 launched the UK’s first LGBTQ+ Undergraduate University Scholarship. We're pleased to continue this support for new students in 2025/26, with this scholarship named in memory of cookery writer and journalist (and University of Hull alumnus) Jeremy Round.
As well as a £1,000 cash grant, recipients will also have the opportunity to meet with LGBTQ+ alumni who have enjoyed success in their respective fields, for advice and question sessions. This will include alumnus Jeremy Trevathan, of major publishing company Pan Macmillian, who generously helped to establish this award.
