If you're a full-time undergraduate student with children, you can apply for a means-tested Childcare Grant to cover up to 85% of your childcare costs:
You can apply for help with childcare costs for children who are under 15, or under 17 if they have special educational needs.
You can also get a Parents' Learning Allowance of up to £1,766 per year to help with your additional costs. The amount that you receive will depend upon your household income, and unlike the Childcare Grant, you do not need to be paying for childcare to qualify.
Any money you get is paid on top of your Maintenance Loan and you don’t have to pay it back.
