This module equips community and public health nurses with essential, up-to-date knowledge and skills to safeguard children and young people, addressing legal, cultural, and practical challenges in diverse family contexts.

About this course

This module for public health nurses and other community nurses and practitioners, addresses the need for these practitioners to have up to date knowledge of the theory and practice skills to be able to work safely to safeguard children and young people within the context of their families and communities.

What do I need?

120 credits at level 5 for those wanting to study at level 6, and 120 credits at level 6 for those wanting to study at level 7.
