About this course
Minor illnesses are among the most common reasons patients seek healthcare advice across primary care, urgent care and community settings. This postgraduate module will help you develop your understanding of common minor illness presentations encountered in clinical practice, exploring their underlying causes, clinical features and evidence-based management.
You'll strengthen your clinical reasoning and decision-making skills, enabling you to recognise common presentations, identify potential red flags and consider appropriate management, referral and safety-netting strategies within your scope of practice.
Through authentic clinical case studies, interactive discussions and reflection on your own experiences, you'll develop the knowledge and confidence to support safe, effective and person-centred care across a variety of healthcare settings.
Designed for registered healthcare professionals, this flexible online module allows you to study alongside your existing professional commitments while enhancing your clinical knowledge and supporting your continuing professional development.
