About this course
Lead with purpose. Coach with impact. Build the confidence, leadership capability and coaching skills needed to lead effectively in today's workplace. Designed for aspiring and new managers, team leaders and professionals looking to strengthen their leadership approach, this eight-day programme combines practical learning with real-world application.
You'll develop your strategic thinking, emotional intelligence and decision-making skills, while learning how to inspire teams, manage change and use coaching techniques to improve performance. You'll also receive a personalised Insights Discovery profile to help you better understand your leadership style and communication strengths.
Delivered by Hull University Business School, the programme combines academic expertise with industry insight. On successful completion, you'll receive an Executive Education certificate from the University of Hull.

No formal qualifications are required. This programme is suitable for aspiring managers, new managers, team leaders and professionals looking to enhance their leadership and coaching capabilities.
To receive Skills Bootcamp funding, participants must be resident in the Greater Lincolnshire area.

How much is it?
Tuition fees for 2026 entry have not been confirmed. Please use 2025-26 information as a guide.
Skills Bootcamps are part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, funded through the Department for Education and delivered in partnership with the Greater Lincolnshire Combined Authority.
Funding is available to individuals who live in the Greater Lincolnshire area:
- Employees of SMEs (up to 250 employees): 90% funded, contribution of £210
- Employees of large organisations (250+ employees): 70% funded, contribution of £630
- Full course fee: £2,100
The contribution is paid by the participant or their employer. Those not eligible for funding can still join at the full course fee.
