Continuing Professional Development Individual module
Level of study
This module for public health nurses and other community nurses and practitioners, addresses the need for these practitioners to have up to date knowledge of the theory and practice skills to be able to work safely to safeguard children and young people within the context of their families and communities.

This module is delivered on Thursdays on campus (all day).

Clinical placements give our students the skills, experience and support to become confident and compassionate health practitioners.
Expert staff work with NHS clinicians to deliver programmes from ‘bite-size’ taster sessions to PhDs in some of the UK’s finest facilities.
120 credits at level 5 for those wanting to study at level 6, and 120 credits at level 6 for those wanting to study at level 7.
