Successful completion of this module will equip you with up to date augmented skills necessary to fulfil an expanded role within the perioperative arena. Exposure, participation, supervision, visits, observation, goal setting, discussion, reflection, questions, and opportunities for role modelling will be utilised to facilitate the integration of theory to practice. Students undertaking this module will work within the clinical setting with a designated clinical mentor/assessor and mentorship/assessment team. You will observe, monitor and consider the impact of intervention upon the patient/client. Whilst caring for patients, you will demonstrate the necessary skills and knowledge and the appropriate level to achieve the learning outcomes.
