Tareq Al Jaber is currently working as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in computer science at the School of Computer Science, University of Hull.

As a lecturer, I am leading various modules (Fundamentals of Data Science Level-7, Big Data and Data Mining Level-7). Before this, I worked as programme leader and lecturer in several universities for the last 12 years. My main teaching modules at the University of Hull are related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and Data Science.

My research interests at Data Science, Machine learning, safety Machine learning Artificial Intelligence and aspects of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), in particular User Experience, Software Evaluation, Heuristic Evaluation, Usability Evaluation and Mobile Health Education Applications.

After completing MSc in .NET Distributed Systems Development, he went on to complete a PhD in Computer Science (An evaluation framework and selection tool for education apps usability, with a case study from health education apps).
